In this presentation, the NIR - an instant heating and drying/curing technology - for coil processing lines is introduced and its special benefits for (future) added processes to be integrated in galvanizing lines. It is outlined how to add high performance conversion coatings or pre-treatment primers or even a full inline paint section for organic coatings.Besides presenting realized production examples, the resulting cost savings compared to conventionally processed coils are reported from existing production experience.
