This paper presents a mixed finite element formulation for the time-dependent analysis of composite steel-concrete beams with partial shear interaction. The formulation is based on the Hellinger-Reissner functional and use an appropriately discretized version of the general linear viscoelastic model, which is an integral-type constitutive model. The influence of time dependent effects, namely the creep and shrinkage of the concrete slab, is considered through a step-by-step computation method based on Hereditary integral. Finally, the accuracy of the algorithm is illustrated by comparing the numerical results against existent results and a time-discrete solution (space exact).
