Comparison of various routes of experimental infection with porcine circovirus type 2 of caesarean-derived colostrum-deprived piglets

Porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) is considered to be associated with postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS).The purpose of this study was to investigate if the difference in titers or the route of inoculation affects symptoms including pathological lesions and quantities of PVC2 DNA by means of quantitative PCR in caesarean-derived colostrum-deprived(CDCD) piglets.
