Compact and efficient electronic modules and integrated transmission control units: A future-proof world-wide variant frame

摘要

Integrated mechatronic control modules were introduced into transmissions in the late nineties. The mechatronic approach is able to cope with increasing requirements of more complex functions, high robustness, compact packaging and low overall costs at high quality. The diversification of transmission systems (AT, DCT, CVT, electro-hydraulic vs electro- mechanic, increasing electrification) is increasing the functionality and therefore new technological concepts are required for the mechatronic control module, especially for the interconnection technology, sensors and electronic integration. A future-proof and flexible mechatronic design kit is shown, to cope with the increasing requirements of the world-wide operating customers.
