Mix of recorded DME interference with simulated Galileo signals allows analysis of receiver performance; Noise by measurement equipment in the recorded data has to be taken into account. Interference becomes more severe with growing altitude: C/N_0 degradation increases from 1.6 dB at 1473 m to 5.2 dB at 11155m; FDAF is able to reduce degradation due to interference dramatically: Remaining C/N_0 degradation ~0 dB at 1473 m and 1.3 dB at 11155m; Receiver degradation with measured DME interference is less severe than with synthetic DME interference file from EUROCAE MOPS.
