Signals are transmitted between a pulse keyed sender transmitter with a certain pulse duration and a receiver with a first testing device delivering a first signal when the width of a received input pulse exceeds a minimum value. The receiver has a second testing device delivering a second signal when the width of the input pulse is below a maximum, and a coincidence circuit delivering an output signal representing the whole or a part of the information when both signals are present at the same time.
