Education for Next Generation Manufacturing - Group 4 Report

摘要

Group 4 met to discuss the education needs for next generation manufacturing. This report provides an overview of the group's thoughts related to the vision of innovation needed for educating next generation manufacturing engineers, building relationships between industry, government and academe, and future directions for manufacturing education. With respect to future directions, the current Global Education for Manufacturing (GEM) Program is briefly discussed as an excellent cornerstone for the future of manufacturing education.
