Alpha-capture reactions relevant to the p-process nucleosynthesis

A systematic effort to measure (α, γ) cross sections for nuclei in the Ge-Sn region and at energies below the Coulomb barrier is reported. Results of the measurements performed with a 4π calorimeter are presented. The data are compared with statistical model calculations and the impact of various nuclear inputs is discussed.
