Ferrocenyl derivatives have been applied in many fields such as electrochemical sensors [1], molecule devices [2], and burn-rate catalysts [3] for their unique electronic, electrochemical, magnetic and catalytic properties. The chain rotary movement along the Fe axis will has great effect on the properties of this kind of compound, and the radical containing compound can be used to investigate the rotation characters by ESR method easier. In this paper, we synthesized a ferrocene-based compound containing radical and investigated its ESR characters.
