摘要

In steelworks, byproduct energy generated in iron- and steel-making processes accounts for approximately 40% of the total energy involved, which is mainly conveyed in the form of gases and steam. In this paper, integrated optimization model for energy conversion among byproduct gases, steam and power generation is proposed to help improve system stability and enhance energy utilization efficiency. This optimization model is designed to simulate energy flow inside the pipe networks, operating characteristics of gas-fired boilers and steam turbines, by taking into account the influence of energy losses in pipes and power plant efficiency, and the time-of-use power pricing as well.
