In order to produce steels with higher added value and to meet market needs for greater strength, lower weight and lower cost, industries are increasingly striving to know all the relationships between the operational parameters, metallurgical and the final steels properties. To support this process, mathematical models represent a major technological advance. They are capable of predicting the final mechanical properties and microstructural evolution of a steel alloyed from the chemical composition and process conditions.
