With the development of large-scale blast furnaces, sinter plays an important role in the operating conditions of blast furnaces. Numerous researchers have focused on improving the quality of sinter and, influencing of the characteristics of iron ores on the index of sinter. Whereas, the quantity of the bonding phase directly affects the yield of sinter, and the quality of the bonding phase directly affects the strength of sinter. Consequently, the compressive strength of bonding phase (CS) plays an important role on the actual sintering process, and its quality significantly influences sinter quality.
