The NH90 is a 10/11 tons helicopter produced in two main versions: one for terrestrial application (TTH) and a second one dedicated to naval missions (NFH). Both versions have been developed with the same challenging specification applied to blades: a large flight envelope, low production and maintenance costs, deicing and automatic folding capabilities for the main rotor, anti-icing capability for the tail rotor and damage-tolerant design.
