Development and Testing of a new Mass Production Measuring System for Quality Inspection of Helical Gears

Further conceptional development on the single flank roller testing method enables the determination of shape, spacing and tooth thickness. Master gears with profile and lead tracks together with a gauge design for simultaneous check of left and right tooth flank and a new analysis software package give the base for a new robust measuring system for direct production purposes next to the gear cutting machine.
