摘要

For marine traffic management,a radar system has been set up and being operated in Tokyo Bay.Basing on the radar images received from the system,moving targets inside the bay can be tracked automatically or manually.In this study,authors would briefly mention an approach of automatic radar tracking.The accuracy of moving target information is,however,usually degraded by noise.Therefore,a suitable form of the Kalman Filter is to be designed and applied to reconstruct targets speed and course,as well as providing a more reliable track.Filtering results were also shown to be stable and less affected by noise.
