The application of three-dimensional (3D) echocardiography is strongly reliable on accurate cardiac gating. "We developed a Doppler-based online gating system for 3D-reconstructive and real-time 3D-echocardiography and were able to show, that fetal cardiac Doppler can be used as reliable tracking signal for fetal 3D-echocardiography.
