摘要

Lubricants are often decomposed through tribochemical reaction processes. The mechanisms are related to the following factors; 1) Nascent surface generation, 2) Exo-electron emission, 3) Tribomicroplasma [1]. However, precise mechanisms are not fully understood because these factors influence on each other. It should also be noted that triboelectrification is involved. So triboelectrification is important to understand tribochemical reactions in detail.
