On Interaction Mechanism between Minimally Invasive Devices and Soft Tissues

摘要

The application of minimally invasive devices is a growing and rapidly expanding surgical field. According to results obtained by the authors and from literatures, main progress on interaction mechanism between minimally invasive devices and soft tissue is reviewed in this paper. The interactive behaviors between minimally invasive grasper and various visceral tissues, between colonoscopy and small intestine, and between electrosurgical electrode and muscular tissue have been investigated. Problems and challenges are discussed and future research direction on this area are attempted to recommend.
