Bi-substituted magnetic garnet films for MO indicator were synthesized on (111),(100) and (110) GGG substrate by LPE technique and the magnetic properties were compared with each other. The growth rate for the case of (110) film is less than half of those of other films. Faraday rotation and magnetization of (110) film was larger than those of other films. The (111) film showed perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and both (110) and (100) film shoed the in-plane magnetic anisotropy.
