THEORY OF ENTROPY AND ITS APPLICATION IN ACTIVE SAFETY FOREWARNING SYSTEM OF VEHICLES

摘要

To improve the efficiency and veracity of vehicle detection and the precision of distance surveying, the concept of entropy is introduced in the research of INTELLIGENT ACTIVE SAFETY SYSTEM OF VEHICLE. A concept of unit space entropy is presented in this paper to realize the vehicle detection. A rank-estimation method is be used to obtain the estimation of entropy to discriminate gross error of surveying distance data. The experiments show that these methods are effective
