Many applications require an easy to clean surface;a low surface energy of the coating is important in this case.This may be achieved by using a sophisticated coating with appropriate binder and pigment formulations.Binders that are used for easy to clean surfaces usually have very high surface resistance which attracts dust from the environment due to electrostatic charging.This can often be seen on electrical devices made from non-conducting plastic where dust adheres to certain areas of the surface.The addition of conductive pigments in the coating is a possible solution for this problem.However the requirement of bright white surfaces showing a"hygienic and clean"appearance cannot
