摘要

This paper proposes a new perspective of studying the influence of Guanxi on conflict handling in Project Team Management (PTM). Chinese cultural context stresses harmony within the team and the team members are less completive and more accommodated. Explored in this paper as the dimension of culture, Relationship is a dynamic process which influences the process of conflict handling. This paper discusses the research on conflict types and suggests the utility of Relationship developed in PTM field. Relationship, as a moderating variable factor, is postulated that it will significantly influence the people' activities to deal with the different conflict issues. And paying attention to both of the Relationship and conflict is essential for project teams to build higher performing teams and be more competitive in the long run.
