PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of stabilizing a level of steaming performance in a tea-leaf steaming machine, making it possible to automatically carry out an operation in which a skilled tea operator controls an angle of inclination of a steaming drum while watching the level of steaming performance, capable of making the level of steaming performance more stabile than ever, and capable of stably and surely carrying out the operation which should be frequently conducted. ;SOLUTION: This method of stabilizing the level of steaming performance in the tea-leaf steaming machine comprises measuring a bulk density of the raw tea-leaves to be charged into the machine and controlling the angle of inclination of the steaming drum in the tea-leaf steaming machine according to the measured value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
