Thermally discharge currents(TSDC) measurement and laser-induced pressure pulse measurement were conducted simultaneously to observe the relationship between the charge stability and space-charge distribution in a 50 or 100 mu m thick PTFE sheet which is corona-charged before the measurement. For that, a novel device was newly designed and manufactured. The correlation among TSDC peaks and space charge positions is identified by a new device exactly because both measurements were done for the same sample at the same time. Corona-charge is stable and stays near charging surface. On the other side, a counter charge was injected into the film but is not so stable. Those charge stabilities are well understood by this new technology.
