Since their discovery in 1976, conducting polymers have been conceptualized for countless industrial uses. These polymers have been used for applications such as polymeric batteries, electrochromic windows, electrostatic protective coatings, light emitting electrochemical cells, field-effect circuits, electromagnetic shielding, analytical separations, actuators, sensors and more.
