摘要

This work applies a multi-objective crisp solution within the Taguchi approach in an attempt to arrive more practically to an optimal decision in engineering problems.To this end,different criteria are first transformed to the fuzzy optimization space,where a cut-off level is defined for all criteria,without weighting them.The problem is then transformed back to the conventional space by the maximization of the cut-off value with respect to the decomposed fuzzy constraints set.As such,it can be considered that the final optimum solution satisfies all the criteria at a common safety level.To illustrate the method,optimization of a cold heading process of an industrial bolt is used as an example.
