Hurricane Rita came ashore just east of Orange Texas September 24, 2005. The event caused major damage in Orange County and subsequently loss of consistent power persisted for weeks. This paper will discuss what the aftermath created for "Chemical Row Industries" with its raw water make-up source and how crawfish was determined to be a primary contributor.
