摘要

The measurements of physical and electrical properties of solutions provide an important aspect for quality control and sustainability of chemical processes.The utilization of the microwave cavity perturbation techniques to measure dielectric properties of non-homogeneous mixtures could provide insight to identify partial contributions of the constituents in a solvent.Dielectric properties of High Fructose Com Syrup (HFCS) and CO2 multiphase mixtures are measured.The samples were prepared by using a pressurized mixing chamber to dissolve CO2 with H2O and commercially found HFCS with artificial flavoring at specific rates.An environmental chamber chills samples to-15°C.Temperature dependent properties are studied by analyzing the samples containing liquid H2O with HFCS syrup,gas (CO2),and solid mixtures (ice).The results show substantial differences that provide good insight for the freezing processes of such mixtures.
