Plant biotechnology for the removal of organic pollutants and toxic metals from wastewaters and contaminated sites

摘要

The aim of this contribution is to provide some basic knowledge of the phytoremediation methodology, including basic definitions, advantages and potential drawbacks. A list of recent publications, which can give more detailed information about both basic research and applications, is included.
