DEVELOPMENT AND PROSPECTS FOR FRUIT AND VEGETABLE STORAGE AND TRANSPORT INDUSTRY IN CHINA

摘要

It is well known that fresh fruits and vegetables are perishable and have a very short shelf and storage life. Many kinds of storing methods have been developed to improve the storage life of fresh fruits and vegetables. Many techniques developed in China have made great contributions to storage of fruits and vegetables. At the same time, many advanced storing technologies and equipment have been introduced in China from developed countries to reduce the postharvest losses in fruits and vegetables.
