Engineering Education through Development of Welfare Equipments in Ariake National College of Technology

摘要

In our laboratory, development of welfare equipments for physically and mentally challenged children have been taken place in the last few years. They are rehabilitation vehicles, rehabilitation standing-boards, and buggy tractor robots. This problem based learning type studies have been carried out as one year program projects of graduation research at our college and have begun steadily to yield results. In addition to these studies, we show engineering education through development of cutting jig for Workshop Center and of rehabilitation machine for elderly people with dementia in this report.
