摘要

Hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) is a furanic compound considered as a chemical platform,once it can be obtained from renewable raw materials,and has wide application in industry as an intermediary in the production of fine chemicals,polymers,biofuels,and pharmaceuticals (1).Several studies have been made to evaluate reaction conditions,catalysts,and solvents (2-5).This work presents the comparison of two reactor systems,continuous packed bed (PBR) and batch reactor (BTR),for the fructose dehydration to form HMF using a strong acid cationic resin as the catalyst and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as the solvent aiming to evaluate the kinetics of the reaction (6).
