AN ALTERNATE NEW GAP METRIC FOR ROBUSTNESS MEASURE

Vinnicombe's ν-gap metrics is more and more widely used for measuring the distance between two transfer functions. Some alternate new metrics are introduced amplifying the principal frequency domain where the sensitivity equals to one and/or where the closed-loop frequency gain equals to one. Examples are shown, when these metrics are more sensitive to parameter variations.
