摘要

Diamond-like carbon (DLC) has found widespread application as a protective coating in many fields because of its high hardness, low friction and wear resistance [1]. In some of these applications, the films are subject to high temperatures in which case, both the thermal stability and high-temperature tribological properties are critical. In our previous work, the high temperature tribological behavior of hydrogenated DLC coatings was investigated at 23, 100, 200, and 300 °C [2]. In this work [3], a kind of hydrogen free DLC, ta-C coating was investigated since the high-temperature tribological behavior of ta-C coatings in-situ has attracted little attention.
