Understanding the financial value of improved energy performance

Organizations seeking to maximize returns on investments often do not recognize the value of improved energy performance. Benefits include more than just increased revenue streams. Improved occupant comfort, pollution prevention, and enhanced community reputation are also important benefits of improved energy performance. This paper introduces a proven and successful approach to energy management based on highly successful strategies and programs of organizations partnering with ENERGY STAR. A brief case study illustrating the use of ENERGY STAR will be presented at the conference.
