To sum up, Ni/ZSM-5 catalysts would improve catalytic activity, permitting an increase in C9 alkyl-aromatics conversion; increase the selectivity of the process by reducing the final concentration of by-products. Moreover, the mild temperature condition (613K) has advantages over C9 alkyl- aromatics hydrodealkylation in minimizing the production of undesirable light hydrocarbon gases, Poly-alkyl-aromatics products and reducing consumption.
