摘要

The influence of the gas backpressure 1-8 bar (0.1-0.8 MPa) in the spraying tower on the powder particle size using a melt film gas atomizer is discussed. Particle refinement is due to secondary atomization resulting from the increased Weber number with higher gas densities. Results of experiments with pure tin melts are given.
