Distance learning has shown to be a useful addition to the educational opportunities universities can offer their students. In the area of mixed signal design, a number of issues relating to laboratories and CAD conspire to make the distance learning experience different than its in-class counterpart. This paper will look at these issues and solutions to the challenges they present.
