摘要

Electrospinning is a versatile process offering unique capabilities to fabricate fibers with diameters ranging from nano to micron scale from polymer solutions1. The surface morphology and chemistry can be tailored according to desired applications by adjusting the different parameters2 and solvents3. The electrospinning process has various advantages including simple equipment and relatively small amount of material. Electrospun fibers exhibit small diameter, large surface to mass ratio, large void volume, interconnected porous network (cell migration), and mechanical integrity.
