Polymeric electrochromic(EC)devices have many advantages compared to inorganic materials-based devices.1 Polymeric materials can cover the whole range of color when used in devices.Stable and near IR field of the organic EC materials are attracting attention in dual polymer EC device applications.Low band-gap redox active conjugated polymers fill the requirements of this area and may provide good materials for such applications.So far,the most widely used low band gap conducting polymer,poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT),and its derivatives have been widely investigated.
