Molecular self-assembly is the spontaneous association of molecules by noncovalent bonds such as hydrogen bonding and van der Waals interaction.Molecular self-assembly forms supramolecules with nanoscale structures.Micelles are supramolecules formed by self-assembly of block copolymers.Diblock copolymer micelles are important in many applications including separation technologies and drug delivery.
