Amphiphilic linear-dendritic copolymers that contain poly(ethylene glycol),PEG,are materials with intriguing solution and solid state properties.AB and ABA copolymers with PEG as the linear (B) block and poly(benzyl ether)s as the dendritic (A) blocks also possess remarkable binding capabilities and adherence to hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfaces indicating a promising biomedical and biotechnological application potential.
