Bruce Edwards: How did you justify the automation of your mud gun and taphole drill controls? Roxie Graystone: We justified the automation by the face that our hydraulic systems were obsolete and we couldn't get parts. So we had to upgrade our hydraulic systems for guns, mostly for our guns, and so with that we added the PLC control.
