LANTHANIDE AND ACTINIDE EXTRACTION WITH CALIX4- AND CALIX6ARENES BEARING AMIDE GROUPS

摘要

The solvent extraction of trivalent Am, Nd, Eu, Tb, Dy, Er and Yb by newly synthesized macrocyclic compounds was investigated. The compounds are calix[n]arenes (n=4, 6) substituted with carboxylic acid and amide groups, differing in cavity size and arrangement of the ligating groups. The influence of the molecular structure on the extractability and selectivity towards f-element ions is discussed in terms of extraction constants.
