Thermoplastic resins are of great interest in the Automotive Industry because of their light weight, weight, relative ease of molding, and acceptable engineering properties for certain applications. These positive attributes are offset by deficiencies attributed to finishing difficulty and limited structural performance for large vertical and horizontal panels. Progress in these two areas wilt further accelerate the growth of thermoplastic use. Advances in both finishing and structural performance are achieved in the Valyi SFC_(TM) molding process
