One of the most important protein biomarkers for myocardial infarction in the blood is cardiac troponin I (cTnI). However, in order to develop a cTnl FET sensor that allows patients to regularly track cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), the sensor must perform better sensitivity, stability and reproducibility. In this study, in order to find out the mechanism which can raise the stability and sensitivity of cTnI FET sensor without changing the chip design, there are two methods was utilized — different gate voltages (Vg) of MOSFET and different anti-cTnI concentrations. The results of this study can be used as a significant basis for optimizing hand-held cTnI biosensor in the future.
