Countermeasures planning based on controller configuration

摘要

It is desirable to support the operator activity in abnormal conditions of chemical plants. In this paper, it is proposed to classify the changes of operation conditions based on the sets of controlled variables. The combination of this classification and controller configuration algorithm enables discovery of the achievable operation conditions and the set of operator actions. This method can be useful for planning countermeasures. The method can become the first step to bridge the discontinuity between fault diagnosis and countermeasures planning for various faults of actuators and sensors.
