摘要

Based on the Computational Wind Engineering (CWE) we have been exploiting a Digital Wind-Tunnel for the Civil Engineering Structure. In this paper the most distinctive feature of a complex flowfield in the Wind Engineering and the procedure of its numerical simulation is described, and as example the wind load and the flowfield around the Xiamen International Bank Building with neighboring structures modeled by this Digital Wind-Tunnel is presented. Given the characteristics of flowfield in this case, a full Reynolds Stress Model (RSM) for turbulent flow is adopted. In order to test the reliability of the numerical simulation, the calculated pressure coefficients are compared with measured ones obtained by the Aerodynamic Wind-Tunnel at the No. 2 Laboratory for Atmospheric Boundary Layer in Peking University. Comparison result justifies that it is reasonable to simulate the wind load on tall buildings.
