Cotton fiber reinforced thermoplastics (polypropylene and polyethylene) composite materials making uses of the carding process have been developed. These materials are lightweight, but tensile strength is high. In this study, the loosing cotton fiber reinforced composite materials which density (0.48~0.90 gf/cm{sup}3) were difference were molded, these damping properties were investigated. As the results, loss factor was dependent on temperature and indicated maximum in 10-20 degree. Also, loss factor increased with a decrease of density.
