The authors presented the preliminary and detailed design of a new suspension bridge in Hong Kong. The thought and some key properties of this design were also proposed in this paper. As for the development of the design of Tsing Lung Bridge deck, Highways Department based on experience gained from other long span bridges in the world, explore the feasibility of adopting a new form of bridge deck to improve its aerodynamic behavior.
